The Kytherian museum has been closed since January 2006, due to earthquake damage.

There’s also a complication regarding the current building, an error in land zoning where it’s built. This is a mistake that the Syndesmos of Chora (who have gifted the building to be used as a museum) and Ministry of Culture & Tourism urgently need to rectify.

Providing a functioning museum space has been the responsibility of the Ministry of Culture & Tourism, who probably needs our assistance to come up with a solution.

The local council (Dimos) should also be able to help.
